Polycotton is a combined (mixed) fabric that meets all modern requirements and criteria: practicality, hygiene, hygroscopicity. Polycotton consists of natural and synthetic fibers - cotton and polyester. This fabric was developed in the early 60s of the twentieth century by American light industry technologists. The name of the material comes from the Greek word poly - "many" and the English cotton - "cotton". In fact, it is by the amount of natural fiber in the composition that the types of polycotton differ. From this it follows that the material consists mainly of cotton. Polyester is added in order to increase the quality characteristics of the fabric. The fabric consists of 30% natural cotton, providing softness and comfort, and 70% polyester, which gives the fabric strength, wear resistance and ease of care. Such a fabric is ideal for everyday use, as it is easy to wash, dries quickly and practically does not require ironing. Stripe satin polycotton is made in the form of a pattern of alternating and alternately connected stripes of different sizes and colors. The alternation of matte and shiny stripes gives this fabric beauty and charm. The material resembles the jacquard type of satin in appearance and weaving technique. Its characteristic feature is vertical matte and glossy stripes on the surface of the fabric, alternating in various combinations. Moreover, they are obtained not as a result of printing on the finished material, but due to a special weaving technique of threads pre-dyed with natural dyes. The contrast and volume of the stripes, which look the same from the front and back, depend on the thickness of the thread used in weaving. The width of the stripes can vary: from 0.3 cm to 1 cm. In our sets, the stripe width is 1 cm. High-quality selected threads and a special method of weaving provide an effective, shiny, soft, slightly sliding surface of the fabric that is tactilely pleasant to the skin. Weft and warp threads are used in the production of fabric. The weft face layer of the formed fabric, due to the overlapping of four warp threads, which create a geometric pattern, with one weft thread, with a shift in each new row by one thread, gives it an iridescent beautiful shine and unusual smoothness. Cotton threads are dyed with natural pigments before weaving. This technology allows the paint to penetrate the fiber structure. This makes the fabric resistant to fading and prevents the loss of color brightness when washing.
